Someone ruined my suprise
I was at my cousins baby shower today and my *#@(&)(*D) aunt said that we can use the left over games for my shower, and said when the date was.
Im soo ****** b/c it was a suprise, and there was no reason for her to throw in the date. she is evil and did it intentionally.
To make matters worse, i really wish i didnt know b/c the shower is when im 36 weeks PG (which is a few weeks later than i would have liked) and i will have my grandma visiting when all the gifts come in. So im a little bummed. I wanted to have everything done before she got here so that i didnt have to worry about setting up for baby the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy and its going to be HOT in july.
Ok, vent over...thanks for listening.

I can relate - I found out about my shower by accident too - I was so disappointed, but it was nice dressing up and putting makeup on - unlike my bridal shower, where I was really clueless and practically rolled out of bed that day to go to!

Aw, that really stinks. Don't let her ruin your special day (and the weeks leading up to it though)...sounds like she'd get satisfaction out of knowing that she ruined it for you.
I can relate to the short timeframe too. My shower is 3.5 weeks before my due date, and I'm stressing over it being so close too, I want everything set up, washed, etc. But my mom & sister will be here to help us out since they'll be in town for the shower, so we'll get it done, and it's the weekend that worked best for everyone (especially my OOT people).
It will still be a great day for you, don't worry!

I used to have a friend like this...we used to tell her the wrong date b/c we knew she was going to blab just to be spiteful

Awh, I'm sorry! I know what you mean about July being HOT... I keep trying to talk to this little girl to convince her that JUNE is better.. OK- different than your shower, but still.
You'll still have a great time, just sorry she spilled the date. Me, I know when my shower is, but I don't think it's a good idea to surprise a pregnant woman, so I refused.
