Someone please help...getting a little nervous now
I had my first medicated IUI on Sunday morning. 3 follies, got the surge on my own...no trigger shot. But since Sunday's IUI I'm still having cramps by my ovaries and yesterday I even had ewcm. Whats happening here?

Did they do a sono Sunday & Monday to see when you were going to ovulate?

No...the last sono and blood work they did was Friday morning. Doctor said I wasnt surging when he called with my results later that day. He said to come in the next morning for the trigger shot.
But then the next morning (Saturday) I had ewcm and tested and sure enough i got the smiley face on the OPK. So I went to the doc's office anyways on Saturday morning to see what they'd say and they made an appointment for me to have my IUI the next day which was Sunday. Didnt get the trigger shot b/c I was already surging on my own. Thing is.....I dont get why I'm still cramping by my ovaries or why I had ewcm yesterday evening...know what I mean? This so weird.

Did the appointment (bloodwork) on Sunday confirm that you were ovulating? Also were you on meds this cycle?
This is my frst cycle with injectables, and I had my second IUI yesterday and today I'm still experiencing A LOT of EWCM and some mild cramping. I'm just assuming that some of it is from the meds and my ovaries reacting to the stimulation, particularly the ones that weren't mature at the time of ovulation.

you should go in 7dpiui to make sure you ovulated (and if you did that your progesterone is high enough)

Yes it was medicated (clomid). I did notice though that I wasnt surging on my own around CD16-17 which is when I normally surge so I went to the doc Friday and thats when he did more bloodwork. I didnt get bloodwork done on Sunday b/c by Saturday morning I was surging on my own so I guess I didnt need it. I normally ovulate on my own....DH and I are dealing with male factor IF which is why we're doing IUI.

Thanks. I called the doctors office and they said it sounds like everything is fine but they said to come in for blood work anyways just to make sure. So I'll go Friday morning.
