Someone or something was messing with me last night...
i was sleeping, and i swear there was something whispering in my ear that caused me to wake up and jerk upright - it was really startling. i can still hear the "swish swish" sound in my ears now.
anyone have any weird things like this happen to them?

Not to freak you out, but if it continues, go to a doctor and get it checked out-to make sure nothing is in your ear.

I came home from work one night (about 1am) a few months after my fil passed away. I was in the kitchen putting my dinner plate in the sink all of a sudden I heard a voice say hello to me. Nobody was up lol
Needless to say I freaked out and ran and got my dh lol

have you been sick or had a cold? I've had that happen when I've been sick. It's fluid in your ears.
Have you had the wax removed lately?

Wow!
I had something happen to me like that once....we were at my parents' house in the summer & had the sliding door open (we were in the living room). At the same time, my mom & I turned around & I said, Jerry's here (my brother). I went outside & he wasn't there.
We both SWORE we heard him say, "HELLO"
FREAKY!!!!!!
My dad thought we were nuts.

I once had a distressing dream, and I woke up and I fully saw someone standing over my bed. I was so scared and I tried to scream and I couldn't. I kept rubbing my eyes hoping it was my mind playing tricks on me and eventually the person/shadow disappeared.
I lived alone at the time.
