Someone call the.....
Someone please call the Waaaaaambulance
I am due in 3 days and I def know I am going past my due date- I am so uncomfortable and done!
I had a lot of extra mucus last night so called the doc. He had me come in to get checked...... Wasted trip!,,
I am barely 2cm, and 50-60% effaced - was hoping for better news
Good thing out of the apt was he said he felt the babies head! ( why didn't he pull him out? Lol)
new plan is,if I do not give birth this weekend I have to get a week 40 sono and wait till week 41 to get induced!
wahhhhhhh I feel like I have been pregnant forever!!
Update:
So after what I thought was the "bloody show" I was sent home from the hospital. I am still only 1 cm and now 80% effaced. I am still bleeding and leaking mucus but hardly any contractions.

You're soooo close!!!
Sounds like your little guy is comfortable in there and is just taking his time to make his grand entrance! Hopefully the next few days aren't too too uncomfortable for you.

i know how you feel 
dd came 8 days late  im hoping this one doesnt do the same
it can change in an instant!
i was 0% effaced and 1cm dilated...went into labor the next day

Things can change very fast. I went to the doctor in the afternoon (3 days before my due date) and the doctor said no sign of anything and to come back next week. I went into labor that night and gave birth the next day.

You're almost there!! Hang in there! I know everyone is different but I had a terrible induction - 3 days! I wish I could have gone naturally! Things can progress quickly. You never know!

It will be here before you know it. It's so hard at the end. As much as you hate hearing this, enjoy the quiet time. It's your first baby right?
Things could happen tomorrow or in a few days. You never know. Plus you didn't even get to your due date yet.
With my first I went into labor a day before due date.
With my second I was 5 days after my due date.
I was 2cm dilated for at least 2 weeks before both pregnancies.
My first I went in to get checked and nothing was going on. She said we can book a induction for the following week. I left upset. Went into labor the next morning.

You are hysterical, "why didn't he pull him out"  the end sucks, period. Go gets long pedicure, walk , sex, spicy food all those tricks (none worked for me btw) but they distracted me enough...when you get to 3cm tell doc to strip your cervix, put me into labor within a couple hrs!

They did it to me in the hospital during my induction. Not gonna lie, it wasn't pleasant. Not at all.

Nothing yet and hAd my doc apt this morning.
I not dilating but I am 80% effaced
I am in the process of scheduling myself to be induced next week

Nothing yet for us either.  I just want to meet him already, the anticipation is killing us. I have my sono Wed and my induction scheduled for Monday the 7th. Good luck!
