Some people don't think
on the way home tonight, someone pulls the emergency brake on the train. it seem there was a sick passenger on the train. we had to wait about 10 minutes for them to fix the brake. like the conductor said, if someone is sick, wait until the train pulls into the station

How sick were they? Maybe it was a seizure, a heart attack or an asthma attack?? In those types of situations, i would say that would more than warrant pulling the brake.

the conductor said pulling the brake in a tunnel could delay getting the passenger assistance from medical personnel

oh..you totally reminded me of the time someone pulled the e brake late at night on the train when he missed his stop
he was clearly drunk but i did feel bad for him...he was in lots of trouble for that
i think it is better to get a conducter if the situation is serious enough, then just pull the brake yourself
