"Rodrigo Santoro mentioned in an interview in the Brazilian edition of Rolling Stone that his character won't be on the show anymore per the end of the current season."
He is the new Brazilian actor who was in Love Actually and the Chanel #5 commericals with Nicole Kidman. They introduced him as a new Lostie this year with Kiele Sanchez.

I heard this too. I think it's SO stupid for them to introduce a character that nobody cares about, especially while so much is still not clarified, and then kill him off
