Some Britax Questions
I need to get DD a new car seat She still is in the infant car seat - but growing out of it fast.
I was doing a little research on Britax - but I am not really getting the answers that I need.
I was looking at the: Marathon Boulevard Roundabout Decathlon
It seems that the Marathon and the Boulevard would be one of the ones that I would go for - but I am not sure It seems that these are good for them up until they reach 65lbs. Are the others as well? I couldn't seem to find the answer.
For girls that have done some research on these seats - could you give me some insights on these seats
Thank you!!!

Re: Some Britax Questions
I dont know about the others but the Roundabout DOES NOT go to 65 lbs. We have Marathons that do.

I believe the Roundabout only goes up to 40lbs.

Re: Some Britax Questions

Re: Some Britax Questions
Honestly they are all good seats, but they all vary in slightly different ways. For example the Decathalon has alot more padding ( that can be removed). That might a good seat for a smaller baby or someone who is completely bypassing the infant seat. Like I said before the Roundabout only goes up to 40lb and then you'd need to get the booster seat. It a matter of what you're looking for exactly in a seat. Know matter which one you choose your peanut will be safe.

Re: Some Britax Questions
They're all great seats. I have the decathalon in my car (an SUV) and a roundabout in my husbands (he drives a smaller 2-door car). The decathalon came with a lot more padding, goes up to 65 lbs and is a little bigger in size. The roundabout goes up to 40 lbs.

Re: Some Britax Questions
I have Boulevards and they're bulky but very safe (best side impact protection). They definitely accommodate up to 65lbs.

Re: Some Britax Questions
We have the Boulevard (and the Wizard, which was the model before the Boulevard) because they have the best side-impact protection.

I also have the Boulevard and I love that it has the SIP. I also helps when he falls asleep in the car, it is almost like side pillows.

Re: Some Britax Questions
I just bought the marathon on sunday for DD. From what I read they are all good, I just know several people who have the marathon and like it.
By the way, Target has the marathon on sale this week for 229, reg 269 there and at BRU.
Good luck.

hmmmm....I am wondering if I should check out Target. I have a $400 GC to Baby Universe - so I was going to use that, but they don't even have that one at Baby Universe - I wonder why

Re: Some Britax Questions
I have a Boulevard and it's great! It's comfortable, easy to fasten, doesn't budge in my car (some slide side to side) and it's also built like a tank! Oh yea, and they're attractive looking too.

Re: Some Britax Questions
I bought the Marathon because I figured that it would last for a long time. I love it due to safety and Hayden liooks very comfy in it too. It is easy to loosen ad tighten the straps too.
