Sofas that come apart?
Does anyone know if there are any furniture stores on long island, or somewhere in ny, that sell sofas or sofa beds that come apart? My DH and I went to a furniture store in long island a few years back (where we bought our sofas) that came apart in different sections, but we can not remember the name of the store.

are you just looking for a modular sectional? If so a number of stores sell them -- I recently saw at Raymor and Flannigan and at Pottery Barn.

i believe that on most recliining sofas, the backs are removable.
