Socks for toddlers

Please tell me what the best socks for toddlers are?

I like the Gap because of the rubber on the bottom, but they never seem to fit right. Gymboree is just terrible because they NEVER fit no matter what size I get.

The best fit is Carters, but they don't have the no-skid on the bottom.

What am I doing wrong? He is in a size 4 1/2 shoe and socks that are 24 months don't seem to fit him, they are too smallChat Icon They should be big on him.

please tell me what socks have a nice fit AND have the non-skid bottom.

Re: Socks for toddlers

All of the socks that I buy from BRU fit Hayden. I find that the ones with the grip run small and they come off too easily.

Re: Socks for toddlers

Thanks, Kara!

That's exactly what happens to Steven. But then if they don't have the grip he can't walk around because he slides all over. I guess once he gets the walking down pat it will be better.

Re: Socks for toddlers

I actually found a bag of them in BRU. They are thinner, so it's easier to squeeze her chunky feet into shoes and they stay on good too with the slip proof bottoms. They had a girly bag and a boy bag.Chat Icon

Re: Socks for toddlers

I have been buying socks at Carter's still. They have "Carter's 2-4 y" printed on the bottom in rubber, and so it gives SOME grip. It just isn't as much as when they were babies and there were stripes of grip.

I just have always found Carter's to stay on the best. They have a good shape to them that doesn't stretch as the day goes on, as I've found other brands to.

THe Children's Place is pretty good too, but Carter's is my fav.

Re: Socks for toddlers

I love the Old Navy socks. They aren't too heavy and they stay on! THey also have the rubber on the bottom.

Re: Socks for toddlers

I just bought PUMA socks from century 21..I really like them because they are a little more snug around the ankle so they stay put.

Re: Socks for toddlers

I like the Old Navy and Target socks. Both have the grips on the bottom and I find they fit perfectly.

Re: Socks for toddlers

Childrens Place socks fit nicely and have the rubber grip bottom - I find that the Target ones fit about the same ....Aly wears a 5.5 sneaker and wears 12-24 mths socks from CP. HTH

We use the Children's Place socks and they seem to sty on well.

my favorites are the children's place, but we have a lot of Old Navy as well which work well too, just the quality isn't the same.

I buy mostly from old navy. I find the ones that fit the best are the thin fold over ones with the grips on the bottom. Target sells the same ones I think.

Re: Socks for toddlers

I know you said the Baby Gap ones don't work for you, but that's what we use. I buy the 2-3 years size for my two year old DS.
