Sock Question

DD is 11 months, and will hopefully be walking soon (she cruises quite a bit).

Since I assume she'll be in shoes soon, should I stop getting socks with grippers? Seems like those would be uncomfy with shoes.

Re: Sock Question

DS is 4 and still has the grips. We have hardwood floors through the house and on the steps. I feel better that he can't slip when running around.

Target has great ones both my boys wear. Makes no difference in the shoe.

Sock Question

DS is almost 2 and still has grippers. He is shoeless int he house all the time and we have wood floors so they keep him from skating!!!!!

Just as an FYI...I was in kindergarten and was eating my lunch after morning K and bringing a glass to my mom who was emptying the dishwasher. I skidded on the tile floor in socks and went right into the dishwasher with a glass in hand....glass broke and I ended up in the ER with stitches in both hands. Since I had that experience I am always careful with DS running in socks.

Sock Question

We have wood floors so I always make sure DD is in socks with grippers still. I don't think they're all that thick that they would feel them much in shoes. At least not any different then walking on the floors.

Re: Sock Question

My 4 year old also loves the gripper socks as they are the only thing that keeps her from sliding all over the wood floors.Chat Icon
