So who is feeling really great?

Pregnancy has it's up and downs.
But who is having a wonderful pg and is still doing just about everything they were pre preggo?

Re: So who is feeling really great?

I actually haven't had too bad of a pg. I only got sick twice (had a decent amount of nauseousness though until week 22). I've only gained 11 lbs and I'm 39w3d. It's only in the last two weeks that I've begun to feel really tired, but it really hasn't been bad.

But my hormones and mood are the most balanced they have ever been. I feel like a punch drunk teen in love with my husband.
It actually make sme terrified of post pardum depression- I'm so afraid to become the crazy hormonal mess I used to be.

Only hting I do differently, really- is that I don't drink!

Re: So who is feeling really great?

Other than being sick right now and the fever dragging me down, I have felt great and have loved being PG! I do everything I used to do other than tie my own shoes, use my preferred sauce that is only stocked in the way back on the bottom shelf (damn the King Kullen stockers) and eat my beloved sushi.

Oh and I had to skip riding the mechanical bull when the opportunity persented itself, but I plan to go back 2 months post pardum. Chat Icon

Love that you are head over heels for DH!!!! When you have the baby you won't be able to BD for a few weeks but I totally recommend making out like a punch drunk teen!

Re: So who is feeling really great?

I feel great. I'm only 16 weeks and aside from coming down with a sinus infection I have felt amazing. M/S never hit and I am still able to do all the things I did pre pregnancy....all in all I think I am in good shape.

Re: So who is feeling really great?

I am feeling pretty great!! I lost weight in the first trimester due to nausea but I just feel lucky to be pregnant. The hormones and emotions are pretty crappy but my husband is awesome. He takes care of me and doesn't take any stock in my crazy emotions. I am a lucky lady!!

Re: So who is feeling really great?

Besides the heartburn and not sleeping that great at night, I feel pretty good.

Re: So who is feeling really great?

I really can't complain (I know so many who've had it worse). I feel pretty good in general. I love feeling the baby's kicks and movements. I too feel strangely balanced (only have the occassional mood swing, which is unusal for me). And I also am lovin' my hubby (even if it's not horizontally Chat Icon ).

My only complaints are about bending and not being able to get up from my couch easily, but I can laugh at those things. Oh, and I miss my good friend, Al Cohol, but I'll see him soon enough!

Re: So who is feeling really great?

I really can't complain. I have heartburn but that's not the worst, and I get the occasional PAINFUL leg cramp at night - other than that, I feel great.

Re: So who is feeling really great?

I was feeling really great up until around week 24. Now I have leg cramps and backaches, but other then that, I really can't complain.

My pregnancy is really going rather smoothly! Here's hoping my labor goes just as smooth!

Same here!!! I can't complain at all. Besides the awful heartburn and not being able to sleep for longer than 3 hours per night... I am pretty lucky and happy Chat Icon

Wow Lauren, I could have written this myself. I cant even remember the last time I was in a miserable mood! Pre pregnancy I was a hormonal mess. I have never felt so balanced in my life!!

Strange.

Now watch me wake up tomorrow & want to stab everyone I see.

I feel GREAT. I actually think I feel better overall being pregnant than not. The only downside to me is being very tired. But my IBS has faded and I feel so happy Chat Icon

Re: So who is feeling really great?

I feel really great, I'm 35weeks tomorrow and the past 3 wks I have felt better than I have at any point earlier on. I don't really sleep more than 4 hrs a night, but it doesn't seem to be having any negative effects. I'm just so excited to meet the baby & because I have GD, that will happen the week before my due date-they're inducing me at 39wks if I don't go on my own before.

Re: So who is feeling really great?

I really can't complain. I had barely no nausea, and so far little side effects. My hip/tail bone is the worst I get.

I was hoping to exercise a lot harder, but right now I'll take the daily walking & weights that I am doing.
