So When do babies start smiling for real (not just the "Gas Smile")
Alex has been smiling at me the past few days, but thought it may still be gas.
She will be 4 weeks on Friday.
I'm sure I could look it up in a book but I'm too lazy right now.

I think it was around 2 months when Julia really started to give me big smiles, and I knew it wasnt just gas. By the way I love your avatar pic its so cute!

your baby week by week says social smiles can start around week 4

Bella started smiling at 3 weeks, no one believed me until I got this

I just about died the first time she smiled at me...but the true kicker is when they smile in reaction to something you do or just from hearing your voice...she started doing that around 2-3 months...
