So what do you do all day...
with your infants?
I am curious to know what kinds of things the other new Mommies do with their babies all day during the week.
I am lucky and live in a young area where there are loads of things for young mothers to do with babies, Monday we go to a playgroup and then to baby massage, Tuesday we go to a Breast Feeding Support Group and then to another playgroup. Wednesday is a free day, Thursday is also, Friday is breakfast at the mall day and Saturday/Sunday is Mommy sleeps late, Daddy takes care of Baby day.
In my neighborhood we also have Baby Music classes, Swimming, dancing classes and the best part is that they are mainly free, or a minimal donation (like 2/3 pounds)
What kinds of things get you out of the house???

Tuesday we go to music and Thursdays we have playgroup.
2 wed. a month we have another playgroup and 1 wed. a month is a mom's group that i joined.
Mondays and Fridays are pretty free and we try to visit my mom.
Sometimes I like down time at home.
We always try to be back home by 1pm for naptime.

Well today we are both home sick. During the week I make plans with my friends and my sister for a GTG with the kids, or I'm at my mom's and we take Julia for a walk. Fridays I take her to gymboree, she loves it! On the weekends DH is home so he spends a lot of time with her, while I go out and get some "mom" time, or we will all go out and do things together.

Wow, sounds like some fun activities! Where did you find out about all the different classes/playgroups? From the other moms in your neighborhood?

Well in the UK we have an organisation called the National Childbirth Trust and the local branches do a newsletter, this has a list of all the activities in the area for the season. Also, for a few months after we give birth we have a Health Visitor who comes to our house and they also tell us about the activities in the area.

Monday is playgroup day ( people i met through a friend of mine)
Tuesdays is Lil playmates (gym class)
Wednesdays is free (1x a month library has a gym class)
Thursdays-playgroup (playgroup formed by meeting people at Mingling Moms..) and hopefully music together ( i registered but they didn't tell me what class I will be in)
Fridays-Free
Saturdays spend time with husband and baby
Sundays as of April-swim class at the JCC
I really try to do only one thing but Thursdays I will be having two things...
I like to keep busy and plus my husband works at home so I really want to be out of the house as much as I can..

Wed. new mommy class at the JCC
thursday mingling moms get together (Same as HillandRons)
Fridays I see my mom
sat - Free day
Sunday- swimming
I also hope to add music together to that list (fingers crossed) - I am out of the house pretty much every day.

You guys all have such exciting lives!!!
I work every day, but this week we spent 2 days at home and have gone out to the mall to have lunch and see friends 2 days. Tomorrow we are going to my sister's house.
I think over the summer when I am off we'll be over grandpa's house a lot because he has a very nice pool.

Jen we love Music Together. We've been going since 12 weeks and I'm signing up for the next session.
