So we need a liquor cabinet
We have quite the collection of bottles, even though we never drink it - it's good to have when we have guests. But since we don't drink liquor, it never occured to us to replace our liquor cabinet when we got rid of and replaced all our furniture, and it's now sitting in a cardboard box in the bottom of my closet (talk about a closet alcoholic).
Does anyone know where I might get a nice one without spending a fortune (I'm not looking to spend $500 on one). Thanks for any recs.

Re: So we need a liquor cabinet
so, as long as you have a seperate wine rack, and we're only talking liquor, you can do what we did!
we went to ikea, and bought an effectiv cabinet set. Ours is a really nice almost black wood cabinet (wenge), with frosted glass / satin-finish aluminum doors. It stands about waist height (a base unit + an add-on unit to increase height), and is about 33 inches wide. (we have it by the window, with plants on top...)
Technically, it's considered office furniture, since you can customize it with file cabinets and the like, but we only have adjustable shelving. 3 shelves. Big bottles on the bottom, medium bottles on the middle, and glasses on top
whoops, I forgot the most important part.... I think it cost about $300.... maybe $350, but it's a solid piece of furniture. If you choose solid doors, the price can come down by about $20
just search for 'effectiv' on the ikea website, and you'll see the options and pricing.
