So upset today
I'm going into my 6th week of pg. and I know it's extremely important right now to be careful. Well, I go ahead to heat my lunch today at work and when I come back into the faculty room there is this toxic smell in the room. Someone else said, oh yeah the microwave is shot, I forgot. meanwhile I'm breathing in this terrible air. I opened up the windows and left the room within 5 minutes. It smelled like it was burnt plastic. I am so nervous if that could effect my baby. Do you ladies think it's something I should really worry about?

Definitely do not worry! With the things i smell every day walking around in NYC...im sure this is fine!

i agree. GOD only knows what most people have been exposed to in NYC and elsewhere and had healthy babies.
