so uncomfortable at work

I just can't stand standing because DD is hanging out so low and whenever I get up there is pressure on my bladder! It's so uncomfortale but as a teacher I can't be sitting at my desk all day. 5 more weeks of this Chat Icon

Re: so uncomfortable at work

I know exactly how you feel. My dr. agreed to put me out at 38 weeks bc LO is in position and standing for too long kills me. Plus I teach 3 yr olds so it isnt so easy bending up and down all day....I'm counting the days.

Re: so uncomfortable at work

i have a c section at 39 weeks so i'll be giong out a few days before that, but that's still 5 weeks away. I don't really want DD to come early, but I wouldn't mind not being PG anymore either!!

We are due the same day and I hear you - I am not a teacher but I am constantly up and down and flights of stairs
Sitting stinks cause my back kills and I am just not a happy camper. I am trying to not go out early but we will see

I am right there with you! I'm a teacher and having a scheduled c on 4-12. I am absolutely miserable. On top of all the pregnancy discomforts, pain and heartburn (TORTURE) I also have other health issues. I am so done! Seriously don't know how I will make itChat Icon

I can definitely sympathize! I'm a middle school math teacher and I couldn't take the dizziness and faint feeling anymore. I'm pregnant with Chat Icon Chat Icon and I'm due in June...I stopped work on Wednesday.

Re: so uncomfortable at work

OMG, we have the same due date, and I'm a teacher, too (first grade)! I could have written this post. My back is killing me. More than my physical discomfort, I'm so sick of people talking about how I look, etc.
I plan on going out at 38 weeks b/c if baby is born on his due date, I can't use my full 30 days of sick days b/c of April break. So I"m not going to kill myself. If I absolutely can't take it anymore, I'll even go out at 37 weeks. I just don't care anymore and really, it's not fair to my students that they're not getting 100% of me.

I have no idea how people do it until the very end. It is ridiculous.
