So uncomfortable

I am the most uncomfortable I've been this entire pregnancy. My back is on fire from about an inch under my shoulder blade and then all down my side back on the right. It hurts so badly. Has anyone experienced this? I don't think it labor or anything bc its not coming and going, it's constant.

I can't wait to get this little guy out!!

i have never had that, but my friend had back labor - it was pain in her lower back... but it hurt her so much she couldnt move - i would lay on your left side and have DH around - if it doesnt go away - I would call the doc!

If its a constant pain and it kills to move, thats something to tell the doc

I had horrible back pain about a month ago. I think it was because I overdid it a little at a wedding. Two days later I could barely walk and it lasted almost a week. It mostly felt like bad spasms when I walked and bending was impossible. I don't know if you're experiencing anything similar, but I would definitely take it easy for a few days and hopefully it will ease up. Check with your dr. but I think a heating pad is ok.

sounds like the baby is wedging up under your ribs a bit. Generally its uncomfty up front but also in the region you describe too. When I can't get adjusted I have DH massage the area a bit with his elbow and that generally helps. Feel better!!

It does sound like he is under your ribs. The only thing I can say is that you should be not feeling that for much longer cause he will drop and you will not have the pain there anymore.....but he will be on your bladder so that will be worse.

Its almost time so hang in there!!!!!

I had back pain with both pregnancies. It's horrible I know. Hang in there!
I did way too much this week and just had a birthday party at my house for my DS today. I'm now in bed with a heating pad and I can't move.

Thanks everyone, I think it's definitely bc of the ribs. At my last sono the tech told me that his feet are wedged under my ribs on the same side I'm having the back pain. I didn't even think that something in the ribs would cause back pain but it makes sense.
