So Sickened....
DH and I went to Taco Bell for dinner (in the mood for a soft taco  and we were sitting down to eat.
I notice this guy (early 20's) sitting down with one of the employees (from taco bell) and talking about his "company" Now normally I wouldn't be so nosey but something just struck me as odd , and we could blatantly hear their conversation....
Basically this guy was trying to weasel this employee into a pyramid scam. We heard things like "well of course you have to BUY the product" and "if you get such and such friends to join you you could make 90K this year" and all this. I was getting FURIOUS. For 2 reasons: 1 this is an obvious scam and the F*ck selling it knew it was. and 2 he was deliberately targeting a demographic that he knew was probably financially dreaming to make their finances better. The whole thing had me raging that I went to the cashier and told him not to let his friend do it. I know it wasn't my business but I just couldn't not say anything. 
I was very obvious talking to DH about how despicable I thought it was. I'm just so upset that someone could target someone like that, KWIM? He must have heard me because then we heard him tell the guy "some people are going to tell you this is a pyramid scam, but it isn't"
I really wanted to beat this guy up

People are sick individuals when they prey on those naiive or less fortunate than themselves. I commend you for saying something to the friend of the person. Most people wouldn't and you saved (hopefully) that poor person from investing in something that he would work hard for only to have it blow up in his face.

This is what bothered me the most- he was asking this guy to "invest" probably the equivalent of 1 or 1.5 of his paychecks. How does this guy sleep at night? I want to get the guy from dateline nbc on the job.

I think I did hear him mention drinks but I'm not sure it was Mon A Vie (which BTW, is a total scam too)
