Re: So sad...
I completly understand. I am going back next week too but I have to work 12pm-9pm Tuesdayand Wednesday; 12-6 Friday and 10-5 Saturday. I am so not happy about my schedule. My job is not being flexible about it. I wish I could find a decent job that I can do from home.

Re: So sad...
I am in denial about going back to work. I am supposed to go back in February and the original plan was 2 shifts a weeks from 2-10pm (I'm a pharmacist) and i would leave the baby with my mom until DH got home. Well I just can't do it yet so I think I am just going to do Saturday mornings so DH can take care of her. So far he is the only one I am OK to leave her with.
Everyone says it gets easier. I hope its not so bad for you.

Re: So sad...
i go back soon too! I'm dreading the additional work on top of the 3 kids and running the house and I will miss the kids terribly, but I ave done this 3 times already so I am kind of looking forward to getting back into the swing of my job, I could never be a SAHM , but it would be nice to have that as an option. good luck, we will all be miserable together

Re: So sad...
I went back to work 3 weeks ago and it was HARD. The week leading up to it I was a bawling mess everytime I looked at her... the first week was awful... I'd run home and cry when I saw her... but, like they say, it DOES get better. Now I'm really enjoying my time with my career and I smile everytime I think of her during the day... and I have the *best* little gift to look forward to at the end of the day And, it's great, because now my time with her is 100% attention and dedication to her... real quality time instead of feeling like I'm just her caretaker

Re: So sad...
It does get easier, trust me. You are fortuate to only work 4 hours a day. Ryan will probably nap part of that time anyway.

Re: So sad...
Honestly Marissa -- I've been back for a month now and it is still pretty sad leaving her every day. I have to be out the door at 6:15am and don't get home until 4:30 -- we go straight to pick up DH from work and don't get home until 5:30-6pm. I spend a few hours with her a night and it breaks my heart. And now I'm off for this week and already it's driving me nuts that I'll have to go back next tuesday. The week off is just not enough.
I know that I need to provide for her but it really does break my heart to leave her with a sitter every day.
Good luck and know that if you ever need to vent about it I'm here.
