So relieved!
Had my 1st Prenatal/Ultrasound for this pregnancy yesterday and everything is PERFECT Measuring 8 weeks 5 days ( as expected) heard the heart beat and no issues. My new OB ( Dr.Byrne In Garden City) his staff and office are AMAZING!!! He's even gonna let me try to VBAC after 2 c/s which is super rare to find! After a very traumatizing last pregnancy and loss , me and my husband were nervous wrecks at the ultrasound and the tech asked me if this was my 1st pregnancy and i told her it was my 6th, i had to mention 3 of them were losses and she said " well we dont allow miscarriages here!" That took the edge off and a few seconds later announced the baby was doing perfectly and played the heartbeat (they also dont hide the screen from you , there is a flat screen in front showing everything on the ultrasound which i was thrilled about!) Also they do the 3D ultrasounds there which im pumped about ! Im sooooooo excited to go back in 4 weeks. This is the 1st ultrasound pic even with it being on the early side that i have no clue what's what- I *think* the top is the head LOL

Love Dr. Byrne. He delivered all 3 of mine! My #2 was a vbac
Congrats and best of luck!
Oh, and any questions about Dr. B and his staff, just ask! I've been with him for more than 15 years, when he was just starting out.... My oldest is 8 and my youngest is 6 months.

How awesome!!! Have you had his wife as a labor coach as well? Youre right in that he is SO easy to talk to and is so patient, took his time anwsering all my questions in depth. He is so down to earth- it's a relief to not have another pretentious Dr., he's one of a kind!

No, I did not, but Sandy is great! She is very reassuring through it all. With my last pregnancy, I was there 2x a week from 30 weeks on for high blood pressure complications. Karina is a doll (nurse), she has been there from the beginning too. Pam, the sonographer, is very nice and always gave me sneak peaks and 3Ds.

Great to know! I dont recall the names of the nurse or sonographer i had but the sonographer was this really loud funny blonde lady (as well as caring & comforting) she was very generous with the amount of photos she gave us but too bad they all look exactly the same lol Im really hoping they turn on the 3D for my near 13 week visit next time, im so glad they do it there and i dont have to go to one of those 3D chain places again . Im trying to keep this baby's gender a surprise since i have one of each already but the 3D is going to make it so tempting hahaha

Yep, that would be Pam! I didn't get a really good 3D shot until I was almost 30 weeks, but by then, the shot was just priceless.
I also had one of each, and for #3, I had to know! I have 2 boys and a girl now.
