So Octomoms..... dare I say it?
Where did the year go??
So for the fun stuff, where is everybody in preparation for DC's big day?
Julia is having a carousel party at one of our parks here in NYC!! Very excited!! The carousel themed invites should be coming today and (hopefully) out in two days. I may do some fun treats like cotton candy, caramel apples, etc.. I am planning on filling old style popcorn boxes with favors and treats to go along with the theme. We still have to decide on food and cake. With the cake I do want something special but I just cannot spend that much money.
I have so much work ahead of me!!

Fastest year of my life.
DDs party will be at queens qty farm...we will have a pumpkin patch, pony rides, hay ride, and feed the animals...I am also going to get a character(elmo probably) and some activity for inside just in case the weather is not so good and the outdoor stuff can't be done.

I was just thinking about this the other day. He'll be 1 year old. Where did the time go and why so fast?  Makes me sad but I'm not even sure why.
His bday invites should be done today and mailed out this week. we are having it in our backyard with a tent. It will be a safari-themed bday. The "cake" will be cupcakes with safari animals. The tent will be decorated with safari-inspired balloon sculptures (palm trees, monkeys) + some safari mylar balloons. Food will be catered but casual.

Holy sh!t you're not kidding
I seriously cannot believe how fast the year went. A YEAR!?!?!?!??!
I feel like I blinked and missed it all 
I keep looking at DD going "oh my baby" but she's not a baby anymore!!! She's turning ONE! 
We're not doing anyting major for her b-day...just taking her out to dinner with family and maybe some friends and that'll be it.

i agree - the fastest and best year of my life 
the invites went out already - ds birthday is the 2nd. less than a month away... i looked at his newborn pics the other day and couldnt believe it was almost a year ago
