So obsessed with the 2ww ... I think I'm making myself sick.

I am 9dpiui today (1st IUI). This has been THE worst 2ww for me since we began TTC 9 mos ago. Maybe it's bc I'm home on break and I have more time to think about it, but I am really driving myself crazy. I cannot stop thinking about it. I WANT THIS SO BADLY, I just don't know how I'll handle another month of disappointment.

I don't even know the point of this post, I guess just to vent and get my feelings out, but thanks for listening.

The 1st IUI is a tough 2ww because it's something "new." I remember getting my hopes up for twins because I saw 2 great follies.

It gets better.



And that this is YOUR last IUI.

The 2 ww is always the worst. Your so close to being able to poas or have your beta. Just try to keep busy as hard as that is.

I felt the exact same way. Our one and only IUI was our 10th month of trying. I knew the odds weren't good because my husbands numbers were low for the IUI. Still, when it didn't work I was devastated. It made me move straight to IVF, but I knew that our chance of success with IUI was really low and I just couldn't handle it anymore. The 2WW is so grueling and for some reason it's particularly agonizing with IUI. At least with IVF they don't put the embryos back in until day 3 or 5 so you are that much farther along into the 2WW.....

Hang in there... it was the LONGEST two weeks ever for us and I tested 4 days after... I did get a BFN which out me down in the dumps BUT after I believe 8 days post... I got a BFP and everyday after that!!!
I say do what you feel is best for you. If you want to test early because of the anxiety do it but dont get your hopes up if you do in fact get a negative- only the beta truly measures how much HCG is produced (if any)

The 2 ww is awful. It is def worse when you are off from work...then are minds go crazy over everything TTC related.

I have been off for 3 weeks from work and all i can think about is babies.

I am in really deep right now and I can't get out of this dark hole. I'm in a place right now of feeling really MAD at this whole situation and just wishing time away.

I think the fact that I don't have a supportive RE is really bad. You would think seeing an RE would make me feel hopeful, but instead it has made me more sad than ever.

Ugh.

Tested this morning, 12dpiui, and BFN.

This is the first time I've actually gotten to this point and been able to test, as every month prior to this I've started spotting early in my cycle, which I knew was indicative of not being pg. So, that's sort of a positive thing for me to focus on (not spotting).

I'll prob test again tomorrow and Sunday, and then I have my beta appt on Mon morning (assuming I don't have AF before then).

Here's to hoping for a POSITIVE 2010 for all of us!!!
