So not ready!

Just had my 35 wk appt and I'm 2 cm dilated and my cervix is thinning. I was put on immediate bedrest and told that I could have the baby in the next 2 wks. Looks like my Aug baby will be a July baby. I'm freaking out! I was not expecting this at all.

Re: So not ready!

OMG!!!! I would be freaking out too! I noticed a change in cervical mucus in the last week and my 35 week appt is this Friday when I'll be having my first internal, I am so afraid they'll tell me I'll go early I need so much more time!! Sorry I know I'm not helping lol......I hope your LO hangs on and you feel more prepared after being home on bedrest!! Chat Icon

hang in there! i've been on bedrest since 28 weeks (am over 36 weeks now) and it definitely helps. i was on strict at first and now i'm on modified but i'm convinced those first few weeks of strict is what kept me from going into full blown labor. watch lots of movies, read magazines and take naps and before you know it, it will be time for your LO to arrive :)
