SO nervous for 1st u/s

got my BFP a week ago and my first ultrasound is scheduled for two weeks from now (ill be 6 weeks)...and im just so nervous! i cant help praying and hoping that they just see a baby in there and a heartbeat...ive been hearing so many stories of doctors finding nothing in there or discovering that the baby stopped developing...

what are the chances?

i just got my bloodwork back and the doc said my levels are totally normal...i cant help but fear the worst

That's understandable. I was nervous as well..and to be honest I still get a little nervous before every doctor's appt. I think it's totally natural. Good luck to you and stay positive!!

Good luck! I think everyone is nervous for their first appointment... and some of us for every appointment after that I will be 25 weeks on Monday and hold my breath at every appointment until they show me the baby or I hear a heartbeat.

Just remember 6 weeks is still early and not everyone gets to hear a heartbeat at that point and will only see a sac/fetal pole during the sono and that is completely normal. Some doctor won't see patients until 8 weeks for that reason.

first congrats!

it is so normal to be worried,i still am and i am 35 weeks tomorrow

6 weeks is really early for a sono,do not be surprised if they just see a sac or a pole

things can change so much in just a few days

at 6 weeks we saw the tiniest flicker of one hb...one week later 2 very strong ones
