SO NERVOUS
So nervous..I'm 6 weeks this week and on Sunday I started having mild cramping and back pain, along with very light pink tinting when I wipe. I almost felt like I was getting my period, so I called the doctor and had an US on Monday morning. Everything looked good, I was measuring 6 weeks, 3 days, which was exactly where I should be and we saw the heartbeat. Doctor said everything looks good. Now it's Friday and i'm still having the same cramping and back pain and the pink when I wipe comes and goes and it's only there if I really reach up in there (sorry tmi). Other than the pink comes after I strain for a BM. Anyway, I go back for another US on the 13th but i'm terrified that i'm in the process of miscarrying and that's why all of this is happening. Any advice?

Re: SO NERVOUS
I'm six weeks as well and have been having the same thing. I haven't gone to the Dr's, but when I called they said it was very normal and as long as it stays brownish and not red and heavy, that it's normal to stay calm.
How painful are your cramps? Mine felt sort of like AF cramps. She told me that's very normal and if it was severe (almost like contractions), that would also be an indicator to come in.

Re: SO NERVOUS
I suggest you don't "reach up" there because you are probably just scratching your cervix, causing it to bleed. Same goes for straining - just don't do it.
Cramps are also normal because alot of changes and stretching are happening in your uterus right now.
Sounds like everything is completely normal. Congrats on the pregnancy!

Re: SO NERVOUS
its hard not to be nervous early on in pregnancy...or even the entire pregnancy
minor cramping is pretty normal so try not to worry too much. if it gets intense call the doctor

Re: SO NERVOUS
The cramping and pulling are completely normal and expected.
The pink spotting is also not something to worry about, especially since it sounds like you could be causing it by messing around down there when things are extra sensitive. If it's not bright red and heavy, it's also not something to panic over.
Just try to remember that once you see the heartbeat your chances of miscarrying go down quite a bit.

Re: SO NERVOUS
I had this with my first daughter throughout my pregnancy and it made me nervous as well because I had a miscarriage prior to my first daughter (btw I didn't have spotting when I miscarried). Spotting during pregnancy is very normal. I went on to have my daughter 9 months later.

Re: SO NERVOUS
I was a nervous wreck in the beginning bc my cramps were horrible. They were just as bad as period cramps and would even wake me up at night. My OB said unfortunately some women just get them worse than others.
