So my DH wants me to create an account for him on Facebook...

And I don't want to do it!!!! If I do, then I will have to be friends with him and then he will be able to see how much I'm really on LOL. I'll be getting calls from work "get off the !@#$%%^&* computer already!!!!"

Also, I'm afraid about what "blasts from the past" will be contacting him, if you know what I mean. Has this happened to anyone?

that is the main reason he wants an account..to harass you. We both have accounts and watch each others activities. It's funny but annoying too!

You can't stop him so you might as well do it and if someone arrives at his e-doorstep address it at that time.

DH knows if anyone showed up and was more than a little friendly, there would be trouble in River City, KWIM?

I don't think he wants to do it to harrass me -- he has no clue how it even works. He just sees all the fun I'm having reconnecting with old friends.

Once he sees how it works, then I think he will start giving me a hard time. He'll say I'm wasting time having BS conversations on and off all day (it's just girly chit chat).

if you are writing on your friends' walls and they on yours, then yes, he could see that, but if you move your conversations to the FB im or to the "inbox" emails, you should be ok.

honestly--it would seem unfair that you might be worried about "blasts from the pasts" that might contact him on there--when you already have a FB...and hey blasts from your past could contact you just as easily.

yeah he might see you on there--but hey if he sees how much you are on there, but that would mean he would have to be on as much as you to see how long you stay on it.

My DH sees how much fun I have w/ Facebook and asked me the same thing. I kept telling him I would but I knew he'd eventually forget about it, which he did. I'm really glad he's sooooo not a computer guy.

I'm really not worried about him with blasts from the past - I just know how girls/women can be -- specifically one that contacted him through Classmates last year.

I'll probably sign him on tonight (he can't be bothered going through the process even though he wants to be on). I'm probably thinking about it too much -- it should all be in fun.
