so i've never shopped in marshall's before
but i was desperate! i really needed flat black sandals, not too dressy, but not casual either (i know, i am imossible  )
i found a great pair of black liz claiborn sandals - and of course i could not pass up the cute italian shoemaker sandals in pewter 
total: $37.00!
(searching for pics now)

Marshalls is great. But it is not near my house. So I go to the sister store- TJMaxx. Ahh... I get a high every time I purchase a handbag from them.

i thought their register said TJ Maxx but then i thought i was seeing things - i had no idea they were connected in any way!

marshalls, tj maxx and homegoods are all owned by the same company. You can buy the same household goods from Maxx and Marshalls that is sold in Homegoods.

It took me a long time to start shopping there too. I still don't look through their clothes too much, but I love their shoes, purses and home department! I love going to TJ Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods!

Marshalls is awesome! I go "Marshalls Hopping" sometimes. I hit off the Melville one, then Jericho and East Meadow. I always do well there!

When I was planning my wedding, I got my bridal shower dress and another outfit at a Marshalls in NJ. I had tried Marshalls in NY once or twice after that and NOTHING.
I was so disappointed that I never bothered with the Marshalls that I live right next to now. But two weeks ago I had to get a last minute gift for my friend's daughter and WOW! They have a TON of great stuff! I got her two little girl outfits and spent less than I would have thought! AND I got great towels for my bathroom!
YAY for Marshalls!
