So if he wants more...
In a previous post I had written that Ryan is taking alot more of his bottle, and alot less of his solids...
Right now he is taking 4 8oz bottles/day.... and eating min. of his solids... 3 times/day...
My question is- when I give him his bottle... he s ucks it dry (all 8oz) and then still wants more.... Should I be going an adding another 2 oz???? I feel like if I give him more- he's gonna eat even less of his solids....
He is already getting 32oz. of formula/day...

When Jake was about 8 months old, my doctor said that he should not be drinking that much (32oz) and to give him more solid food. How much solids is he eating a day?

I don't think you are supposed to go over 32oz a day, though I could be wrong. Are you giving him his bottles right after solids or are they more spaced out?

My dr always said 32 oz was the magic rule - if drinking more than 32 oz - give more solids, less than 20, less solids.
But on the other hand - you are saying this is a temp thing. I would guess something is bothering him like teeth since he is regularly a good eater. My son sometines would have brief periods when he avoided baby food or avoided the bottle for a few days.
Going over 32 oz a few days isn't going to hurt him and is nutritional - so I would give a few more for a day or two and see what happens.

Do you feed him the bottle first or the solids first?
I do bottle first then solids.

This is our eating sced.
6- 8oz bottle
630 cereal/jar of fruit
10-8 oz bottle
12-jar of veg
2-8oz bottle
5-jar of veg./meat dinner- cereal, jar of fruit
630 8oz bottle and then bed.....
He is now not finishing his breakfast- only eating half a jar for lunch...and eating the dinner jar- and a few bites of cereal fruit for dinner...
He did just cut his 1st tooth...

So I guess I space them out- and sometimes the bottle is 1st and others its 2nd
