The Holy Family!
Sometimes you can buy a starter set, with the Holy family, wise men & and a Angel, and then add on with animals, drummer boy, villagers, etc.
I bought one in CVS years ago, that looks nice, but doesn't have additional peices.
That's really the point of a name brand, so you can find the matching pieces down the road.
DH has had his Fontanini set forever, and so now we are adding all sorts of randoms. . .but I refuse to buy the kneelling Santa!

I have the Precious Moment Mini-Nativity. They also have that in full size. I think you can get a Nativity made by anyone really. Willow Tree (I think that's it) also has a really nice set.

We have a lenox like set I got in Macys 3 years ago after Christmas for $10 (market down from $50). I love the Fontani sets, but too expensive for my pocket

I'm thinking of making it my avatar! I'd like to think Santa is a Holy man, being a Saint and all, but putting him with the baby Jesus? Holy anachronism, Batman! Unless it's supposed to represent Santa stopping by the local North Pole nativity Scene to say a quick prayer before he heads off to deliver the toys. . .
(Sorry for the hijack!)

We have a Fontanini one. My mom and grandmother got us a basic set for my birthday one year and then my mom gets me another piece every year for my birthday.
