So I got bored yesterday and wound up...
trying to see if I could get my tongue ring back in.
I had it pierced when I was 15 and took it out for the first time when my son was first born..
So 2 1/2 years later and it still went through!

Well I don't want to gross anyone out but the bottom didnt close up at all .. no problems there... there was a thin layer of skin that healed on the top though that I had to kind of push or wiggle it to get it to go through 
Not sure yet if I am keeping it.. I don't think its very motherly but I have to tell you I love this thing and have missed it dearly!! lol
I think I will only put it in once in awhile ... its in right now though!

I guess it's different for different people because my cousin's tongue piercing closed up almost immediately after taking her ring out and my belly button piercing never closed when I took it out for my pg - I put my ring back in the other day with no problems at all!

It must be b/c I took it out when my belly started getting big and after he was born I tried to put it back in and it was totally healed already 
But DH thinks maybe it has to do with that I had it so long?? I first had it done when I was 15 and never took it out.
RED - I swear it dosent hurt AT ALL!!!!

I'm glad I could make you laugh!!! I never kiss him like that when he first walks in the door home from work!! He was more shocked then anything!! Poor guy probably got his hopes up thinking he was gunna get some while the sun was still up

I had one, I had it for a yr and a half and I took it out during clinic in school ( dental hygiene) and 4 hours later it wouldnt even budge!!!!! I lost the hole- it closed up sooo freakin fast!!! I miss it too!!! but with my job I cant have it- unsanitary.

Oh know they didnt force me but its not OSHA coded for a Dental Hygienist and I didnt want to piss off any instructors either. Dental assistants can get away with a ton of things, they dont have a state license they can lose and never practice again.
