So I get my renewal agreement
today...
1st off- they were "supposedly" giving us 90 days notice of the rate increase... which would of been 4/1..
Ive been calling twice a week since the 2nd when I didnt get my agreement in the mail- asking the increase, trying to find out when the paper work was going out etc...
All they kept telling me was they were unsure of the increase and that they were behind on the paper work... FINE!
Well today I get our agreement- our rent has increased $150/month (which totally sux- considering they were just renting it out to newcomers for $125 less) and that we need to fill out the paper work and let them know by 4/30 or they are automatically renewing it AND charging us and additional 40%/month
We get a whopping 2 weeks to make a decision...I dont get it- how is this fair!!!!

Re: So I get my renewal agreement
WOW!
Yea we got our rent increase but it doesnt matter cause we are movning but they increased our rent only $25 a month and we would have to pay a tax for the year (150 bucks one time pay)
THAT STINKS!

Re: So I get my renewal agreement
That really is crazy. I had 60 days to send back my lease renewal.
Our management copy sent our rate increase late also. It is really annoying how we have to respond by a deadline, but they can send the paperwork late.
