So frustrating.....
We are in contract to sell our house which was a long exhausting process. We are now trying to get contracts signed for our purchase and this process is even worse. When we sold and bought the 1st time it was so much easier. This sucks!!!

Re: So frustrating.....
Sorry you are having a hard time! I find the phase in between getting an accepted offer and getting into full contract to be the most stressful part of any transaction. Dealing with the home inspection, working out the contract details, etc. can always raise issues, and it's always a weird limbo, because you already have some attachment to the house (usually), but don't have anything solid yet.
Are you trying to line up your sale and purchase to occur around the same time, such that the purchase of your new home is contingent on the sale of your current home closing? If so, that always raises some red flags, as the seller and listing agents are understandably wary of this and want to do additional research.
I am going through this with a client now, and we just had to be very transparent, putting them in touch with not only my buyers' loan officer but also the loan officer for the buyer of their home. Luckily, it seems to be working out, but the negotiations have been taking longer than normal because of this.
Hope everything works out for you! Things usually do work out in these scenarios!

Way too much to even try to type but we are working on it. It is just VERY frustrating. My agent said she's never dealt with something like this in her ten years of selling real estate full time....
