So embarassing! Maggie and the Vet!
Maggie got a "red circle" at the vet today
her file has been marked- she is now listed as an "Agressive" Cat who can only come in during certain times
I am mortified!
I can only imagine how I will feel when my child acts out!
she was so bad!

The infamous Dr. K gave her a red mark.
Dh grandmother had a cat that had to be either sedated or he had to put on his thick gloves to exam him. Can't recall which one.

Welcome to the club!
When my Tigger got neutered, he had to stay overnight b/c he would not let them touch him without hissing, biting, growling...
Yeah, its totally embarassing! he has to be sedated now if we bring him

Thankfully, my vet didn't do the "red circle" thing...because Gunnar would have had gottenone for sure! He screamed so loud one time that when we left, the people in the waiting room looked horrified.
We went to an emergency vet once, and the vet refused to look at him, saying she "didn't get paid enough to go near him".
He was a terror! Could only get examined while sedated.
Scout, on the other hand, purrs like a maniac when examined. She totally loves it. Doesn't even mind getting shots.
Cats are so weird!!!

Awww that is not too bad. I am lucky mine doesn't do that she actually enjoys the vet. Well certain parts of the visit. Hopefully it will get better.

Don't worry. My dog got the "needs a muzzle" stamp removed from his file. The vet felt that his attitude improved. I'm just not sure I agree with that .

Don't feel bad.
My cat is so bad she needs to be sedated.
She won't let anyone pick her up other than me or my husband- and even that is questionable. Sometimes we can't even touch her
She growls, hisses, screams like her throat is being cut.
It's very scary and very frustrating for me because I'm afraid to bring her to the vet...

My cat is the same way. She's a tiny thing too, and I can't believe how vicious she gets at the vet. I have yet to find a vet that won't sedate her when I bring her in. I've never heard a cat growl and spit the way my Shadow does.
