So confused!
Today was my five day transfer. I had nine going embryos on day three so they moved me to day five. I go in today and the robot (aka doctor) that none of my embryos made it to blast but they are still growing just slower. They might thrive better in my uterus. All of the research I'm doing is saying if they aren't blastocysts at day five they haven't survived. She transferred two of the best ones. Needless to say I am bummed, confused ,but trying to remain hopeful. Any thoughts advice or experiences? TIA

So confused!
Are they morulas? I understand why you would be upset but still hold out hope. Some embryos do better in the uterus then on a petri dish so I hope that they grow and stick in there. Good luck

Same. I have no experience with IVF yet but I have heard that some do better in utero. I can understand how this can be frustrating

Thanks so much ladies. I'm guessing that's what they are. My doctor is excellent at not giving me any information

They were probably morulas. I had that happen during my IVF cycle, too. I had 4 A embry ons on day 3 so they pushed it to day 5. Unfortunately, though, they had slowed down and weren't blasts on day 5. This is common when you're dealing with MFI (not sure if you are, though) since the egg DNA carries the embryo through to about day 3 and then the sperm DNA kicks in.
Unfortunately, now it's just a waiting game. You'll know in about a week. Good luck!

Thanks for your help. Yes we are. I just found out my other seven embryos stopped growing and we have nothing to freeze.

Good luck!! I too have heard some just need to be in utero to do well. Who wants to grow in a Petri dish right?! Sending tons of prayers and sticky dust your way  ::
