So confused

I always thought I ovulate around CD14. I alwasy get EWCM starting around CD9 to CD12-13. The OPK's never really worked for me and temping was even more confusing so this is based on my own thoughts. But every month it happens like this, clockwork. Then on CD14 I get some slight cramping.

Anyway, I go to RE yesterday and he says that when we will be monitoring my cycles he will have me use OPK's also even though I say they dont work for me. BUT he said to do it in the am?? Like between 10am and 12pm. So, bc Im off today I decided what the heck Ill try it but I know it will be neg. Well, I take it (CD16) and it looks positive to me!!! So that means I'll O within the next 36hours or so? Luckily, I had bloodwork done yesterday and he said when they call me today they will tell me if I ovulated or not yet so I will know for sure. But it drives me nuts. Just when I think I understand my body. Once again I say, that's why we BD every other day for most of the month!!! That's the only thing I can be certain about. Re: So confused

most likely won't ovulate on the exact same day every month.

My cycles are insanely regular and my O dates varies a day or 2 in either direction.

Re: So confused

Atleast you're being monitored so that you know for sure!! When I did a natural fet I had to use opks in addition to my monitoring. Dr b told me to use them twice a day, morning and evening bc sometimes they are unreliable and you can definately miss it!

Re: So confused

Thanks ladies for your response Chat Icon The nurse called and said I did not ovulate yet but I am very close. Im a little bummed bc it will be CD17 tomorrow and I usually get AF around CD26-28. This would make my LP around 9-11 days. Im just frustrated bc I always though I oculated much earlier than this. The positive is def. that I am being montired and there def. relatively easy and painless fixes for this. I am honestly just surprised by all this bc I was always told I was "fine," even though I felt like there might be more. I guess you live and learn.
