So aggrivated by Cablevision!
So my modem died. I called Cablevision and they said to bring it to one of the Optimum Stores and they would replace it for free. DH and I have been talking about trading in our cable box for a DVR box, so I unhook the box and I go. We hook it up Wednesday, and the picture keeps freezing. I figure maybe the box needs time to calibrate. Well this happens Thursday and Friday too. Today we turn on the box and it's fine, but the DVR doesn't work! They said the hard drive is corrupt and I have to go BACK to the Optimum store tomorrow (because they're closed today) to trade out the boxes. Don't they test their boxes before giving them out? And the closest store is about 25 minutes away. All this to tape the Baby Borrowers while watching Project Runway....

that's crazy! I would ask them for a free month of cable for your time, inconvenience, not to mention wasted gas money!

Maybe a free few days of DVR service cause you can't use it might work
