SNOW DAY!!
Whatcha makin'?
I'm still cleaning up from Christmas Eve.. but I bought a roaster and will make roasted chicken, brussel sprouts, MASHED POTATOES! , stuffing, cranberries and gravy.
I'm also contemplating a chocolate cake... but so many people brought cookies on Christmas eve that I really don't NEED them..

Tonight- salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and homemade chocolate chip cookies.
Tomorrow- Eye round roast, green salad w/ Italian shaker dressing, and stuffing or baked potatoes, not sure yet...
* there will be homemade chicken soup w/ noodles and matzoh balls involved sometime today or tomorrow too. *

We'll be having leftovers for about a week lol. I still have cold cuts left from the antipasto, cheese and crackers, meatballs and sausage, roast beef, potatoes, sweet potatoes and green beans. Not to mention all of the cakes and pies that are left.
Today I just need to clean the floors, do laundry and RELAX!

i never made the turkey... there was so much left over
so today, there will be a 14lb turkey in my oven, pioneer woman's mashed potatoes, and gravy
i'm also going to make a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting
oh, we'll also be using the easy bake oven i got SO's little girl

I took the ribs from the bottom of my bone in, prime rib-dumped em in the slow cooker with onions, garlic, tomatoes, red wine and some fresh parsley...
We also have a TON of other leftovers...

Leftovers!!! I ran out this
morning though to do some food shopping. I'll be home tomorrow (my boss already called me!) So I'll make a Chicken soup. And we got so many cookies and desserts leftover!!! Today I just relax!

Just having some soup for now! My favorite on a snowy day.
Probably wont be doing much cooking this week since DH won't be around (He works 12hour shifts during snowstorms). I picked up some frozen meals for me instead.

I made some homemade soup earlier........tomato with white bean and pasta.
Yum.....with grilled cheese.
Not sure what we are doing for dinner yet.
I do have half a leftover lasagna and a pot of meatballs and sausage in the fridge in the garage.

I am making a pot of sauce.....probabaly just pasta and a salad tonight and I will make meatballs tomorrow. I forget to take the meat out so it is still frozen

on sunday I made Lentil soup, I made some cannelini beans to make an escarole soup (probably thursday) and I made a big pot of sauce with meatballs.
yesterday, we played in the snow and just hung around the house.
we have family visiting from Spain so not sure how often we'll be eating in house this week.
