Snacks/ sweets for those with gd
I failed my one hour and want to eat better leading up to my 3 hour. I crave sweets like there is no tomorrow! Need ideas Tia

The dietitian told me if I really wanted to cheat to have a small amount of sweets with a meal. Your body can process the sweets better if you eat them along with a meal. Otherwise if you were going to try to avoid sweets make sure you eat every couple of hours (I've been doing every two hours)- I have 15 g of carbs with breakfast and snacks and 30 g of carbs with each meal. I would avoid all sweet the day before your 3 hr. For dinner just eat protein and veggies - no carbs.
