Smokeless portable fireplaces

I saw this on Designer Guys, an HGTV show, and once it was placed against the wall, you would have no idea that it was a portable fireplace.

I found a supplier that sells them at $400. to start, real wood fireplaces. They burn gel, not gas or wood. So it's safer, and you don't need a chimney.

Does anyone have one of these? They would be great for a house with no fireplace as a focal point for a room. Check these out:

Real Flame brand ones are nice too and aren't as expensive. QVC sells them.
