Smelly dishwasher

Amazing find, for those of you who have an unpleasant smell in your dishwasher, well I found that if I keep the detergent dispenser full all the time with your favorite dish cleaner it smells great all the time.

Re: Smelly dishwasher

my MIL told me that when that happens, you should run the dishwasher empty with baking soda in the dispenser...
it worked for me!

(the smell is usually from food residue)

I think it would have to be dishwasher detergent.

I run my washing machine empty with vinegar and hot water ever so often, I wonder if they same would be good for the dishwasher? Good tips!! Hate a smelly dishwasher!

Re: Smelly dishwasher

Yes I keep it full ready to go all the time, smells great and all I have to do is push a button when it time to clean or rise. It has really been working out for me. Chat Icon
