Small vent
A guy who works on the opposite side of my cubicle has a newborn son.
His whole department is going on and on giving him tips on how to care for him...sleeping tips, their experiences with babies, etc, etc....
I'm going nuts, why is this so easy for everyone around me.
Here I am trying to figure out my next step and I have to listen to happy parents all day.
Sorry if my post sounds mean.

Not mean at all! We ahve all been there and know exactly what you are saying. Why is it so hard for some and so easy for others? Hope your day gets better!

I understand. Yesterday someone I know kept updating her FB status every 5 min bc she was going into labor. I was so happy for her yet each new update felt like a knife stabbing into me.
