Small Office + Loud lady = Lauren hates her job
I like my coworker, she's interesting. but she embodies every definition of "drama".
She has been complaining on the phone, loudly, for the past 3 hours, with everyone she knows, about the same nasty email someone sent her.
And in the next breath, she talks to me about how that will be my job, and she comaplins about how much it sux.
I am so anxious for my boss ot be in the office so I can tell him that I will not take that crap job, and that he can fire me please.

you must work with Goldi!   
but alas, we love Leslie, so it can't be her! 
p.s. - hope it gets better there  or at least you'll get an early vacation

I really just love how much she complains, then will say- seriously in the same breath- "Oh, you'll see- you get to deal with this garbage".
Then she'll complain about how all of thisish takes up her day, and how she only got one candidate submittal and will need to work all night.
Umm, OK so why do you think that I am going to accept a $12K pay cut for that? Oh, right- because of the aweosme commisions. Oh, you have had 6 placements in 4 months? Yeah, that's really worth it. Sign me up.

I know I do.
I call him the Frank Show.
Actually right now, I can hear him, down the hall, with his door shut, saying to no one in particular, "Idiots! Stupid Freaking Idiots!" and that's mild.
He is the only person in this office required by the boss, to keep his office door closed.
He is on the phone all day (required) and has a LOUD voice. And then when he hangs up the phone he usually curses at it. Loudly.
When he's in a good mood, he sings opera.

ugh, that *****. i also prayed to be fired from my last job.
my loud lady wound up being a pseudo-relative though. no joke, i worked in the office for about a month when they rearranged us and all of a sudden this wacky lady with hundreds of tiny stuffed animals lined up perfectly around her cube with their creepy beady eyes always staring at me was suddenly my neighbor. She is the loudest person I have ever met in my life, complete with piercing cackley witch laugh. Sweet woman, but boy did she affect me on a daily basis. I found out that first night that her brother is married to my first cousin. We've since attended same family functions. 
But on a happier note, I finally got to tell them to go screw and left. 
Just keep thinking of your baby boy!
