Slomin's oil???
Any feedback would be great! We got a good price, but have heard their service isn't so great. Is that true?

we love them! we use them for oil and security and twice they came for an oil issue in under an hour.

we use them for both as well..but I wish my call would have been answered so quickly. Every time I call them it's been awful. I've called them for the annual cleaning of our boiler in Sept, gave me an appt in Nov for after 12. They came at 6 this was the other day!

Honestly, I think their service stinks. We had a contract with them and I found most of their techs unreliable and not very knowledgable. I also would have to wait up to 6 hours for a tech to come to the house if there was an "emergency". I didn't think the premium price for the oil was worth the service contract.
I'd rather have an independent servicer and buy my oil on a COD basis. At least if I have an emergency and I call the indep. service agent I have hired, I know it's someone that can do the job, not the random idiot Slomins is sending out in a truck.

I have them for my alarm but once the 5 years is up I'm outta there for good.

we just signed up with them(at the mall!) for 2.89 that includes service contract, my neighbor across the street loves them , the old owner of my house hates them and uses petro (charging 3.29 now)
For us the first year we have to watch our pennies and hope we don't have any emergencies
