Slomins Alarm
At 4am this morning my slomins home alarm went off for no reason.
Anyone know why this would happen?
It wasn't even set.

Re: Slomins Alarm
dDd you check which zone it was?
mine did that one night b/c cable went out and my phone went out so it beeped til i reset it. it happens it to let you know there is no phone line.
cable apparently does this once in awhile during the night to update their systems. i have had the alarm almost 1 1/2 years and it happened 1 time at night.

Re: Slomins Alarm
Do you have it connected to the cable, so if cablevision resets its boxes, the alarm will go off. The slomins guy told us this when we signed. We had them bypass that option when they installed it.

Re: Slomins Alarm
This has happened a few times.
Verizon resets its systems at night and it causes it to down the lines. My alarm is hooked up to the phone so whenever the phones goes dead, the alarm rings. I guess if someone should ever cut our lines from outside this would be a good thing, but the first time it happened it scared the $hit out of me and my dog!!
