Slim Fast

So I see this stuff still on the market and wondering if anyone here drinks the shakes to help with weight loss.

Targets having a sale on the shake cans this week and I'm thinking about jump starting my weight loss plan with them.

Anyone have any feedback on the taste, if it leaves you full or anything?

Re: Slim Fast

I've tried it over the years and never lost any weight with it. Just doesn't fill me up.

Re: Slim Fast

I do the program in a different way

Its basically a 200 calorie meal for breakfast and lunch. I have a shake with a banana (or strawberries) in it for lunch. For breakfast I have any meal replacement bar that is 200 calories or less. I either eat Luna bars or Lara bars (the Slim fast bar sare 200 calories each as well)

Then I have a 500 calorie or so dinner and two 100 calorie snacks during the day

I have lost 10 lbs in about 6 weeks!

The first week I was hungry but now its just part of my lifestyle. Limiting my calorie intake this way helps me ALOT.

I usually do 1 cheat day on the weekend, but I make sure i definately work out that day.

I usually work out 3-4 times a week. I do the eliptical for about 30 mins and the other days I do crunches, lunges etc.

This is exactly how I would like to do it to. A shake and a fruit...I just need a jump start to get some motivation going then I think I'll go back to portion control WW style and add some evening walking 2-3 times a week. I have absolutely not time for the gym and I have to east something fast light and healthy for breakfast and lunch. Now I've read not to purchase cans but the powder. Now just thinking of a flavor...Chat Icon
