Re: sleeping pills?
MY Doctor told ME that I can take an Ambien . I was seriously shocked that it was ok but decided I just couldn't take something so strong. I had a glass of wine instead when I reached about 16 weeks. Slept like a baby that night.
In any case, you should always check with YOUR Doctor first.

Re: sleeping pills?
my dr said I could take Unisom for morning sickness so I am guessing it would be fine to take to sleep but I would ask your dr.

Re: sleeping pills?
Just chiming in to agree with the Benadryl. My OB told me to take it any time for an allergy attack, but it knocks me out right away and puts me to sleep with just one pill. So it would be fine to take at night as a sleep aid. (BTW, Tylenol PM is just Tylenol and Benadryl in the same pill, so that would be fine too if you have that around your house).

Re: sleeping pills?
just remember that the sleeping pills cross the placenta and if you use them too much towards the end the baby will become addicted and have trouble sleeping when born.

Re: sleeping pills?
My doc finally gave me a perscription for Ambien, i was shocked you could take it but it is pregnancy safe. I slept so well that night and sleep very well the night i take it. I haven't slept very well in months until the perscription, pregnancy is so uncomfortable.
