Re: sleeping patterns
you still have time to lay on your back...side's aren't for another few weeks (i don't remember the exact week - but i hit it recently - maybe 17 or 18 weeks).
it has nothing to do with the baby - it's YOUR artery that gets a little pinched...blood flowing to your heart...
let me see if i can find the info...

Re: sleeping patterns
I have always been a side sleeper. I sleep on my left, when my legs start to hurt, I flip to my right. I just started last night sleeping with the pillow between my legs. With DS I had charlie horses and am hoping to avoid that this time. (ooops...sorry I kind of went off topic)

Re: sleeping patterns
i was told by my doctor that at 24 weeks on you could feel light headed if you lay on your back, but it was really okay as long as you feel okay. If you end up on your back in your sleep you usually wake up on your own to reposition.
