Sleeping in this cold!
Although I feel our house is warm, it's definitely a little cooler with how cold it is outside. With the high ceilings, I feel like my heat can't keep up!
What are you dressing your LO in to sleep?? Anyone else having a little more a chill in their house? I'm so worried about her being cold, but don't want to overdress her either.

Re: Sleeping in this cold!
I usually have 2 layers on the baby all the time. If it's a little chilly I use a fleece footed pj because it's a little thicker than the cotton ones.

Ok that's basically what I'm doing- fleece footy pajamas and then she has her swaddle. Last night I put a light crochet blanket as well.

Re: Sleeping in this cold!
DS wears fleece feetie pjs and his fleece sleepsack to bed. We keep our house very cool, 62 at night. He always wakes up toasty warm in the morning though.

Our heat crapped out in the middle of the night and it went down to 55 in the house so I brought her in our room

Sleeping in this cold!
DS' room is always a good 5 degrees colder than the rest of the apartment (we live in a converted garage, on a slab) and I have the heat cranked up so high that dh and I can sleep on top of the covers while my sons room just reaches 68 degrees.
I put him in fleece footies and a fleece sleepsack. Plus sometimes a heater.

Re: Sleeping in this cold!
We've been keeping our heat up to 80 yet the heat can't get up past 67. It's really cold in our house. I put the girls in socks, undershirts and fleece one piece sleepers. Plus they both sleep with blankets.

Sleeping in this cold!
Our heat is cranked up and we try to keep DD room between 68-72. I have her in a short sleeve onesie and fleece footy pjs. There are some days where we feet and hands are cold when she wakes up but her chest is warm. She's too mobile for a sleep sack.

Sleeping in this cold!
Their room is the coldest in the house, and I know when I fall asleep on the couch with no blanket, I am freezing when i wake up even when the house is 70. I hate to think that they're in a 68 degree room and cold over night.
I put them in a white onesie, cotton footed pj's and then a fleece footed PJ over that, 2 sizes bigger. It works... they're toasty

Re: Sleeping in this cold!
I turn the heat off overnight so it's definitely a little bit chilly in the house (which we like for sleeping). DS wears a onesie, socks (his feet always feel cold), and fleece footie pajamas.

DS crawls, stands, coasts, rolls, he is ALL Over his crib and does it just fine with his sleep sack on! They also make ones will little feet holes for walkers!

Re: Sleeping in this cold!
We keep DS's room between 68-72 (closer to 72 on very cold nights). He sleeps in a long sleeved body suit no legs, and a sleep sack swaddle. When he wakes up his feet are sometimes a bit cold but the rest of him is warm, and he sweats a bit, so I don't go more bundled than that.

Re: Sleeping in this cold!
I try to keep the house warm, but dd's room is over the garage so it def gets a little chillier in there at night. I put either a short sleeve onesie and fleece footie pj's on her... or a long sleeve oneside with cotton footie pj's... and always a fleece sleep sack
