Sleeping help????? 10 month old
ok so since like 2 months i would put her in her bassinet /crib a wake and she would fall sleep on her won, as of 6 months won't fall asleep alone i would have to put her in the crib awake,.... now at 10 months she wake up multiple times a night crying and standing.. its like she hate the crib! and if i bring her in my bed she fall right to sleep and will sleep all night with out waking up crying! so if i bring her in my bed i wait til she falls asleep and put her back in her crib but now when i do it she wakes right up as soon as she hits crying!!! anyone else have this, i tried letting her cry it out for like20 minutes and she stands in the crib crying and starts to get horse and hyperventaulates after awhile!!! anyone else have this?? what do i do????

Sleeping help????? 10 month old
DS does it soem nights. I let him cry....he ends up alseep and usually it is within 30 mins.

so he goes from standing and lays him self back down and goes to sleep?? and it takes like 30 minutes?

We have been going through the exact same thing. This week I tried to get into more of a routine at night. I would give her the last bottle around 8-9 pm and then take her in her room and read a couple books with some soft music playing. I would rock her and just before she falls asleep I put her in her crib. Most of the times she will stand up crying. I sit next to the crib rubbing her back and she falls asleep within 5-10 minutes.
When she wakes during the night, I would go in and try rubbing her back again - and not pick her up. If I can't get her to calm down and fall asleep after a half hour I will pick her up and rock her back to sleep.
Last night, when she woke during the night I did not go in and after about 5 minutes she fell to sleep on her own. And we all got a decent night's sleep!! Hopefully this trend will continue.
Good luck. I know how frustrating it can be.

OMG i do the exact same thing... and usually she falls sleep with me rubbing her back after 5-10 minutes! but now this week... i do it for more then 15-20 and when i stop she stands right up!!! last night she got her bottle 815 then i put her in the 845. wide awake crying at 915... i just dont get it!!!! so tonight im going to try to let her just cry and not go in there!!!

Yup....he stands at the rail screaming and will flop himself down...stand back up and he repeats this til he finally gives up.
I have gotten to the point that I know which cry is for soemthing real and which is I'm awake come get me.

the same exact thing happened around 10 months for DS. we tried everynight to put him down and he would get back up the second he hit the crib. we tried CIO and he just doesn't give up. So he's been sleeping in the bed with me for the last 2 months. I'm hoping it's just a phase! LOL

Yea some night as soon as i hear her start to cry i run in there flop her back down and rub her back and she usually goes right back to sleep... but this week she has been in bed with me because its to exhausting when both or you work full time, and its like a rerun every hour or two... and when she hits my bed she sleeps straight through!! but wednesday night she slept in her crib all night!!! idk... another thing is i dont like letting her crib because she chews on the rail and im scared shes going to get wood in her mouth or the finish! plus can't be good for her 1 tooth!! ha! sometimes i wonder because all 4 top teeth are swollen and the one bottom one, if her teeth wake her up in the middle of the night, but its weird how she doesn't wake up in our bed! so i dont think its her teeth! sigh!

i even have that homedic sound spa lullaby machine, and it projects stuff on the ceiling, she looks at it and keeps crying! ugh!!!

same exact story here..now he falls asleep in his crib when he wakes we just take him in bed, it is the only way anyone gets sleep lol
