Sleeping & Blankie Question
My dd is 9 months old. She fell in love with one of those lil stuffed animal blankies. It has the stuffed animal head and is attached to a small blankie. She does take a paci and has been having some sleep issues. I want to give her something to help soothe her. Would you let your dd sleep with it? Im a paranoid mom AND shes teething on and off. Shes putting everything in her mouth, including this lil blankie. My DH is afraid she will put it in her mouth and suffocate if she doesn't pull it out when she falls asleep. He kind of scared me lol
Im just curious how many of you let your LO sleep with a blankie or anything besides a paci in the crib...

I'm a very relaxed parent, but when it comes to sleeping I'm psycho! I would prob let her fall asleep with it, but before I go to bed I'd take it out of the crib. Could that be an option?

My DD does not use a paci.
She's been using her lovie to sleep. She's been sleeping with it for months. She's 8 months.

I keep the lovie in the crib all the time. DS uses it in the middle of the night to go back to sleep. He's 5 months.

My DS uses a paci and the little blankie. He loves to hold onto something when he sleeps. He's been sleeping with it for months! He also puts it in his mouth but usually falls asleep with paci.

MY LO is 8.5 months old. I took the paci away about a month ago & replaced it with a blanket. he loves it, it soothes him. he manuevers it very will through out the night.

DS has been sleeping with a paci and a lovey since he was about 6/7 months. It's helped a lot with any STTN issues. At that age, I would do it. GL!

Yes, all of my DC had one of those starting at around 6 months. At first I would let them fall asleep with it and then go in and take it out but around 9-10 months, I just let them sleep with it all night.

Sleeping & Blankie Question
DD got her lovie when we stopped swaddling her. She can't go to sleep without it now. I never felt unsafe letting her have it.
She always wakes up looking for it and then soothes herself back to sleep.
She is 2 now and still uses it.
